Te Kete a KoPA – A Right-shift Measurement Tool
Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori recognises that to revitalise te reo Māori, customised support is needed to encourage ‘right-shifting’ movement towards a normalised state. Right-shifting happens when an individual or organisation is progressively moving from non-use or passive use, to active use of te reo Māori, referred to as the KoPA (Te Kore, Te Pō, Te Awatea) model.
